Emotion celebrates another great season
2nd April 2008
Latest figures released by Emotion, the UK's leading designer of fashionable footwear for women with wider feet and calves, reveal that compared with this time last year forward sales for its autumn/winter range are up by 66 per cent.
Many Emotion retailers report that the reason behind this is that they believe their customers will appreciate the exciting and stylish range.
As Gary Bates, co-owner of Hobson and Bates Shoes Limited in Bawtry says: “It is the style with the fitting of Emotion footwear that appeals to our customers. The company is the first to do wide leg fitting with a fashion look. Not only that, Emotion styles have progressed in line with fashion. There are other companies that do wide leg boots, but their look is basic. Emotion boots have a fashion edge, but are still wearable. They are for the customer who likes to follow fashion, but does not want to be a fashion victim by wearing ill-fitting footwear.”
This view is supported by Moria Sharkey, buyer for Tartan and Tweed in Girvan, Scotland who says: “So many customers love Emotion’s boots. They have never found high leg boots to fit before, and they really appreciate the soft leather.”
Zoe Zavery, a registered podiatrist and buyer with Gait in Leicester, says that Emotion fulfils her cutomers requirements of style, choice and fit. She tells the heart-warming story of a size 10, 23-year-old customer who literally broke down with joy in the store because she was able to fully zip knee length boot for the first time, and have her choice of style. “I knew then I was on to a winner,” says Ms Zavery.
The Emotion range is supported by full point of sale material, public relations and national advertising. To give your customers that “emotional” moment, contact Emotion on 01642 807090 or visit www.emotionshoes.co.uk
